Sports Matters 2014

Sports Matters 2014, taking place on 17-18th September at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore, has announced a power-packed speaker faculty dedicated to building strong foundations for the sports industry in Asia. Joining Lord Sebastian Coe KBE, Executive Chairman of CSM Sport and Entertainment, are global industry leaders who wield influence in their respective fields offering insights on industry trends and how those gathered can learn from each other, engage and shape the future.

Sports Matters 2014 is co-presented by Samsung and Fox Sports and will be welcoming Lim Teck Yin, CEO, Sports Singapore, to open the conference. The programme kicks off with “Thought Leadership” from the English Football Association’s Director of Football Governance & Regulation, Darren Bailey. Additional Day One highlights include discussion panel with Samsung Head of Sports Maurizio Barbieri, as well as keynote interviews with StarHub CEO Tan Tong Hai and a Technology Workshop addressing the finer points of the rich world of online and on-demand sports content.

Hot topics under discussion will include football, fan engagement and the commercialisation of the sports consumer, content and branding within sports sponsorship and the globalisation of sport. Day Two kicks off with a global theme, with keynote interviews with Lord Sebastian Coe KBE, CSM Sport and Entertainment, Ward Platt, COO FOX International Channels & CEO National Geographic Channels and Claude Ruibal, Global Head of Sports Partnerships at YouTube.
