As expected Indonesia’s Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka, the top seed, won the men’s singles crown but he was forced to come from behind to beat surprise finalist H.S. Prannoy of Indian before winning 18-21, 21-15, 21-18 in 63 minutes.

Indonesia also won the men’s doubles through Andrei Andista-Hendra Aprida Gunawan. Seeded seven, the Indonesians were given a tough fight by Japan’s Kenta Kazuno-Kazushi Yamada before coming out winners 15-21, 23-21, 21-17 in 53 minutes.

In the battle of the Indonesians in the women’s doubles final Geovani Mareta-Rosyita Eka Putri ran out 21-19, 15-21, 21-10 winners against compatriots Gebby Ristiyani Imawan-Mahadewi Istirani Ni Ketut. The final lasted 55 minutes.
