KUALA TERENGGANU – Jeremy Koo of the Sime Darby Foundation/1Malaysia Match Racing Team is on cruise control as he finished Day Two of Liga Layar Malaysia 2014 Pulau Duyong edition with no defeats.

Koo defeated all his opponents in the two round robin stages to top the standings and set up a semi final showdown with Ishak Jab of RMNMRT/151 Onesails.

The seasoned skipper made it look too easy and comfortably defeated Ishak in the first of three flights in the semi final fixture.

Ishak however is not throwing the towel yet and is looking forward to resuming his duel with Koo on Day Three on Monday.

“Jeremy is a very experienced sailor and was always the favourite to win against us.

“We tried hard to defeat him in the first flight but we did not manage to.

“However, I had a good post-match briefing with my crew members and tomorrow we are still going out there to try and win it.

“My team was just assembled last week so it does take time for the members to gel, but we will try our very best tomorrow,” said Ishak after the race.

Nurul Elia Anuar (ReMix Team) had a good outing on Day Two, finishing second in the round robin stages with 6 points.
