The Perdana Quay Fun Ride in conjunction with the 2015 Tradewinds Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge (Tradewinds LIMBC) on October 17 promises to be a special stand-alone event.
Race organisers Human Voyage Sdn Bhd has promised the fun ride to be a race made by riders, for the riders.
âWe have taken a few measures to make sure this yearâs Perdana Quay Fun Ride a memorable occasion for the participants,â said HV CEO, Datuk Malik Mydin.
âBased on the feedback over the years, we feel it is only right that we form a dedicated technical team comprising professionals who have had the experience of organising jamborees to run the race.â
To illustrate his point, Malik said the 40km Perdana Quay Fun Ride will be held on Oct 17, on the eve of the UCI MTB Marathon Series while the showpiece event â the Tradewinds LIMBC â takes place on Oct 20-24.
âWe give our assurance that 100% of our attention on that particular day will be focused on the Perdana Quay Fun Ride participants,â said Malik.
Malik added HV will have dedicated Perdana Quay Fun Ride signage to prevent confusion.
âIt will be crystal clear to avoid confusion, having taken cognizance of the fact that it has caused inconvenience to riders in previous years.â
The Perdana Quay Fun Ride is the perfect fun in the sun ride for friends and families. An entry fee of RM90 comes with a goodie bag worth RM100, the opportunity to ride along with pro riders and above all the chance to win a Proton car.
The Tradewinds LIMBC takes place on Oct 20-24.
