Striker Gisung Yeon led Phnom Penh Crown FC to their biggest win ever in the Metfone Cambodia League where his seven goals saw them whitewashed struggling CMAC 11-0 at the RSN Stadium.

South African Shane Booysen started the ball rolling with the first goal after eight minutes before Gisung blasted in a hat-trick for them to lead 4-0 at the half.

Keo Sokpheng, Sin Kakada and then Gisung added further goals in the second half for the win.

But the win just improved the fortunes for Phnom Penh Crown slightly where they moved up to fourth – with 24 points from 13 matches played and four points behind leaders Preah Khan Reach FC.

Elsewhere, Ministry of National Defence thrashed Electricite du Cambodge 5-0 as defending champions Boeung Ket Angkor edged Commissary of National Police 3-2.

Svay Rieng skipped over Asia Euro United 4-0 at Old Stadium while NagaWorld strolled over Kirivong Sok Sen Chey 3-1 and Cambodian Tiger held Western Phnom Penh 1-1.
