Seasoned campaigner Shalin Zulkifli lead the women’s trio team to win the gold in the women’s trio competition held at Sunway Pyramid on Wednesday (23 Aug).
The combination of Shalin-Esther VCheah and Sin Lin Jane produced a total score of 3,835 to defeat Singapore’s New Hui Fen-Shayna Ng and Cheries Tan who came in second with 3,795s.
The bronze went to Malaysian trio of Natasha Roslan, Syaidatul Afifah Badrul Hamidi and Siti Safiyah who recorded a total 3,785 pinfalls.
In the men’s trio, Thailand had a good outing, recording a 1-2 win to win the gold and silver while Indonesia took the bronze.
