Sydney FC captain Alex Brosque used the club’s Sky Blue Ball on Saturday night to confirm he’ll play one for another season in the Hyundai A-League.

It was though Brosque would call time on his career after the 2017/18 Season but he’s decided to continue his glittering 17-year career.

It’s a major boost for the Sky Blues considering they have already seen coach Graham Arnold leave to become the new Caltex Socceroos boss, while defenders Jordy Buijs and Luke Wilkshire – and striker Matt Simon – have also departed.
