# Sandro hits a brace as Kedah hold Pahang in Kuantan

# Kelantan shock K.Lumpur 4-2 in Kota Bahru

# Miserable Melaka United hit by PKNS FC 2-0 in Shah Alam

A fourth-minute goal from the penalty spot opened the floodgates as leaders Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) romped to a 4-0 win over bottom-placed N. Sembilan in the Super League at Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Paroi on Saturday.

Argentine Gonzalo Cabrera made no mistake from the spot after Fauzan Dzulkifly was hauled up for hands inside the penalty box. JDT 1-0.

It was all the Southern Tigers needed to get into cruise mode and rode to a comfortable win and three points to retain their place at the top of the table with 24 points from nine matches.

Second-placed Pahang lost further ground on the leaders after a 2-2 draw with Kedah at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan and are on 18 points.

JDT were 2-0 up in the 37th minute with Corbin Ong heading home during a goalmouth melee after goalkeeper Ilham Amirul fumbled with a catch.

The homesters muffed a golden chance to narrow the deficit in the 56th minute when Kim Do-hean crashed his spot kick against the post. At the other end, JDT gleefully converted their penalty with Safawi Rasid netting after he was felled inside the box in the 62nd minute.

The international got his second and JDT’s fourth with a solo effort before the final whistle for a comfortable win.

In Kuantan, it was a thriller as Kedah came from behind to share the spoils with a 2-2 draw with Pahang. It was a costly two points lost for the Elephants at home.

Pahang was 1-0 up after 10-minutes with Chan Vathanaka scoring before Sandro da Silva put Kedah on level terms in the 18th minute.

Singapore international Safuwan Baharudin regained the lead for Pahang in the 40th minute for a 2-1 lead at halftime. Sandro, however, got his second on the night in the 50th minute for the Red Eagles to share the spoils.

At the Shah Alam Stadium two second-half goals by Rafael Ramazotti and Safee Sali gave PKNS FC a 2-0 win over Melaka United.

However, the shock result of the night happened at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Bahru with Kelantan coming off 4-2 winners over Kuala Lumpur. It is only the second win for the Red Warriors in nine matches.
