The Indonesian Women’s national team received some harsh lessons from Thailand last night when they were thrashed 13-0 in a friendly that was played at the Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium.

The game represented the Indonesian national side first test as they look to put up a positive performance for the AFF Women’s Championship which they will be hosting at the end of June

Thailand, who qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019, had a double hat-trick from Taneekarn Dangda (4th, 28th and 40th minute) and Saowalak Pengngam (56th, 73rd and 80th) to drive them.

The remainder of the goals were scored by Khwangruedi Saengchan (5th and 10th minute), Silawan Intamee (27th and 45th), Ainon Phancha (30th), Wilaiporn Boothduang (34th) and Sudarat Chuchuen (87th).

The next friendly will be played at the Bumi Sriwijaya Stadium on 30 May 2018.
