A last minute lapse in concentration cost the Indonesian national Under-23 team dearly when they felt o a 2-1 loss to their South Korean counterparts in a friendly last night.

In the match that was played at the Pakansari Stadium in Bogor, the young Indonesian side put up a strong performance for much of the first half before conceding with just two minutes remaining when Jeong Tae-wook.

Indonesia put up a consistent assault after the break for Hansamu Yama Pranata to equalise in injury time before South Korea picked up the win off Han Seung-gyu’s winner just moments later.

”We tried several options upfront and certainly there were some good moments. I thought that we did quite well in spite of the defeat,” said Indonesian head coach Luis Milla.
