Following the tragedy that occurred in Port Dickson a few months ago, the organisers Carbon Sports together with sponsors UEM Sunrise left no stone upturned in order to Ensure the safety of the participants of the event which is in its third year .

“ We had to go through a tedious process of seeking approval from the relevant government agencies but that was understandable as they wanted everything to be catered for. Especially the safety aspects in regards to the event,” said tKeld Kristiansen.he Executive Chairman of Carbon Sports

“ In this respect we have deployed
Kayak – 31 (Lead, Stationary & Moving), Bomba and Marine Police – 8 Divers, Marine Police – 6 Boats, 2 Jetskis

“ We have also got good cooperation from the police with regards to the safety during the running and cycling stages. A total of 40 Marshall’s excluding Rela personnel will be on guard at strategic points.”

Iskandar Puteri, Johor will once again play host to triathletes from all over the world in the Challenge Iskandar Puteri which is the fastest growing race in the global Challenge series of full and half triathlon races.
