The Danish brand FZ Forza is about to launch this fall a brand new collection together with the charity foundation Solibad, Badminton without borders.
This is a unique occasion for Solibad to strengthen a partnership which was already going on well for the past three years, and spread their common actions more widely thanks to the distribution of this new collection all around the planet.
“We are truly happy to continue and strengthen this partnership with Forza and to give it a new turn with this new line of clothing. We share with our Danish friend the same values of sportsmanship and equality of access to sport for everyone and we hope this collection will be a great success so that we can finance more and more programs to help children in the need” says Raphael Sachetat, founder of Solibad.
“I was lucky enough to be in Bekasi, in the outskirts of Jakarta, when the first shirts were revealed and given to the children of our program in Indonesia – who live in a giant garbage dump and I saw twinkles in their eyes when they put them on” adds the French reporter.
“We are truly delighted to consolidate this partnership with Solibad. These first years working together have allowed us to finance some of Solibad’s programs on site and it is with pride that we take part of this joint collaboration and to be an actor of the sport’s development and its social impact” says Bruno Galent, director of Forza France and Switzerland branch
« Last summer, I had the opportunity to visit one school in Kathmandu (Nepal) where we helped to finance all furniture needed in the classrooms. The kids as well as the management were really grateful, it is in experiencing those moments that we know why we keep working passionately » adds Galent.
The collection consists of a shirt, a polo shirt, a racket and a badminton bad, all black – Forza’s signature color, with the rainbow colors of Solibad. All products will be made in Forza’s own factories, which have a very strict policy of good working conditions and fair trade, as it is the case for all the goods sold by the Charity online on their boutique. 8% of the total sales of this collection will be given for Solibad’s programs around the world.
This new collection comes after a 3 year campaign “1% for Solibad” where 1% of all sales from Forza in France and Switzerland was donated to the charity. And which had permitted to finance a whole program in Indonesia for a year. 1000 rackets will also be sent by Forza to Solibad’s programs.
