Three red cards saw referee Fitri Maskon hog the limelight at the Larkin Stadium on Friday during Johor Darul Takzim’s Super League home match against Felda United.

Fitri sacked Felda’s Zahril Azri Zabril on the hour mark for a second bookable offence for an infringement on JDT’s Ignacio Insa. A second sacking followed in the 82nd minute, this time it was Felda’s Brazilian defender Thiago Junio who grabbed an early shower for time wasting.

The Southern Tigers took full advantage of the numerical advantage to score their first goal through Gonzalo Cabrera. Felda was further hit by a third sacking a minute from time when skipper Hadin Azman, a former JDT player, wa given his marching orders.

This, however, did not stop the visitors, nicknamed “The Fighters”, from snatching the equalizer through Brazilian Jocinei Schad off a thundering freekick. The fight was on, but the added time saw JDT’s new signings Akhyar Rashid and Diogo Santo hit their marks. – BY RIZAL ABDULLAH
