Defending champions Thailand made it two out of two in Group B of the AFF Under-15 Girls’ Championship 2019 when they whitewashed Cambodia 4-0 in their second game of Group B here at the Institute of Physical Education Stadium.

The Thais displayed all the markings of a championship- winning side as they were in full control and rarely allowed Cambodia to push forward.

But the Cambodian girls, despite losing their last two games, fought well and hard against their more organised opponents.

They even ventured to get into the Thai box but they were always denied by the vigilant Supapron Intaraprasit.

Thailand started the ball rolling with the first goal of the game in the eighth minute when Kantisa Inchamman as Sasithon Dima then added the second goal ten minute later.

Chattaya Pratumkul’s grounder in the 28th minute gave them their third goal as Saithon then added her second and Thailand’s fourth right at the hour mark.

With a 4-0 advantage into the second half, Thai head coach Naruephon Kaenson made a handful of changes as Cambodia continued to pack their defence.

The Thai reserves tried hard to get on the score sheet but it was to no avail.
