Pelle P joins World Match Racing Tour

The World Match Racing Tour is pleased to announce the addition of popular Swedish apparel brand Pelle P as Official Clothing Partner. The World Match Racing Tour adds to Pelle P’s existing sponsorship portfolio including Team Alinghi, the China Sail GP Team, former Match Racing World Champion Phil Robertson (NZL) and professional sailor Johnie Berntsson (SWE). 
Pelle P is one of Scandinavia’s most popular active lifestyle brands for sports, casual and technical wear. The brand’s sailing, skiwear, golf and training collections are inspired by the achievements of Swedish America’s Cup sailing legend and designer Pelle Petterson. The company was founded in 2007 by Pelle’s daughter Cecilia who leads the company as CEO and Head of Design.

Pelle P joins the World Match Racing Tour as Official Clothing Partner, initially for 2019 with the option to extend an agreement in to next year. For 2019, the partnership includes the World Tour Championship Finals in Marstrand, Sweden from 3-7 July. Twelve teams will compete for the Tour title and Match Racing World Championship including defending world champion Torvar Mirsky (AUS), six-time world champion Ian Williams (GBR) and former world champions Phil Robertson (NZL) and Taylor Canfield (USA).
