The Indonesian Under-15 team planned to play two more friendlies before their departure to Chonburi, Thailand for the AFF U15 Boys’s Championship slated for 27 July to 9 August 2019.

The team under Bima Sakti will take on the U16 teams of Indonesia Liga 1 side Persija Jakarta and Tira Persikabo.

However, the team conceded their first loss this week when they went down 1-0 to PPLPD Kabupaten Bogor.

“We have to play high intensity matches every two days, just like in the competition. So we have to be prepared,” said Bima.

“I hope that we can continue to be better especially in the next two matches against Persija and Tira Persikabo.”

The team had played five friendlies previously – a 1-0 win over Sister City, a 0-0 draw against Liga Kompas Gramedia U15, a 2-1 win over Askab PSSI Bekasi Selection and then a 3-1 victory over SKO Ragunan.

Indonesia are the defending champions of the AFF U15 Boys’ Championship.
