Indonesia Under-18 head coach Fachri Hussaini said that his team need at least one more high pressure game before they leave for the AFF U18 Championship 2019 in Vietnam next month.
After making another clean sweep of friendlies this past week, Fachri said that while he is satisfied with the performance of his chargers, he felt that they were not really tested and pushed to the limit.
âThereâs still some time yet before we leave for Vietnam. So we will still have time to shape the team further,â said Fachri.
âWe need to play at least one match against team which is at the same level or higher. That way we can further evaluate the squad before the tournament starts in Vietnam.â
In the last three friendlies, the Indonesian U18 team beat Persibo Bojonegoro 2-1 before edging Deltras 1-0.
They then completed their matches at the Gelora Delta Stadium in Sidoarjo with a 4-0 thrashing of Persekabpas.
