The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have set 2 November 2019 as the date for their Extraordinary Congress to elect a new President following intense communications with international body FIFA this week.
Other than for the position of President, the Extraordinary Congress will also see the election of a Deputy President and also members of the Executive Council for the Session 2019-2023.
Towards that, the PSSI Vetting Committee has started the process of accepting candidates beginning today with Chairman Syarif Bastaman stating that the registration process will start today and end on 3 October 2019.
āThe announcement of interim candidates will be announced on 9-13 October 2019. The final announcement of the list of candidates will be made on 18 October 2019,ā explained Syarif.
Candidates will have to fulfill certain criteria including integrity check and several other requirements which have been set by PSSI Statutes.
