China demolished Oman 7-2 to end their campaign in the 8th Men’s Junior Asia Cup in seventh position at the Wisma Belia Hockey Stadium.

It was China’s second win over Oman in the tournament following a 5-2 victory in the Group B preliminary round.

Zhang Taozhu started the goal rush for China with penalty corner strikes in the 20th and 21st minutes and Wang Yongze treated himself to a brace as well (28th and 51st). China’s other goals came through Li Huixin (45th, FG), Meng Wei (49th, FG) and Meng Dihao (55th, FG).

Oman replied through Salmeen Al-Nofali (33rd, PC) and a field goal from Mohammad Al-Lawati (57th, FG).
