TABLE toppers Police will face bottom placed Perlis tomorrow without a host of players, leaving big cracks in their backline.

V. Thirumurugan, Muslim Ahmad, Munir Amran and Fekry Tajuddin are all crocked but coach Dollah Salleh is not pushing the panic button as he prepares for two big games against Perlis, followed by Pahang in the second leg FA Cup tie.

Police held the reigning Malaysia Cup champions to a 1-1 draw in the first-leg.

Dollah’s first priority is Perlis, who have lost all their four matches and have conceded a massive 10 goals – the highest in the league so far.

“Perlis may be at the bottom of the league but it does not make any easy for us. In fact we have to be wary of the threat posed by Perlis…and we have to be on guard against the underdogs,” told told Sports247.my.

“I have crocked backline with four of my defenders on the crock list. But I cannot harp on injuries and instead have to pick my best 11 to suit my match strategy. As usual we will play our normal game”.

Dollah is also hoping that Maldives national skipper Ashfaq Ali will continue with his excellent form like he did against Pahang.

“He did not score in the FA Cup match but it was Ashfaq’s best performance to date. He has the speed and the skills. He came close to scoring against Pahang and I expect him to get his name into the scoresheet against Perlis,” added Dollah.
