Early Thai League One 2019 pace setters Port FC lose further ground this week when they fell to a 1-0 defeat to PTT Rayong in the match that was played at the PTT Stadium.

Port, who had been setting the pace at the top of standings in the first few weeks, dropped down to fifth in the 16-team table with Dennis Murillo scoring the only goal of the game with an fantastic curler in the 71st minute.

In the meantime, Samut Prakan FC drew level on the same 35 points with leaders Buriram United when they Sukhothai 2-1 on the road.

Teeraphol Yoryoei was on target twice for Samut Prakan on the ninth and 45th minute with John Baggio’s goal for Sukothai sandwiched in the middle on 23 minute.

On the other hand, defending champions Buriram United were held to a 1-1 draw by third-placed Bangkok United with Everton Gonçalves Saturnino’s 45th minute goal cancelling out Nacer Barazite’s 31st minute lead for Buriram.

Elsewhere, Chainat drew 1-1 with PT Prachuap at the Khao Plong Stadium, as Ratchaburi rout Chiangmai 4-1.
