The start of the WEC Super Season is fast approaching and the official poster for the opening round, the Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, has now been revealed.

The roar of the 36 engines will ring out loudly around the iconic 7.004km (4.352 mile) Ardennes track on Saturday 5th May, and the battles will commence for World Championship and WEC titles – to be awarded at the conclusion of the Super Season, the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2019. 

A high profile opening round 

The first round of the season will also serve as the dress rehearsal for round two, the 24 Hours of Le Mans which takes place on 16-17th June.  The Total 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will offer the teams an important first glimpse at their rivals’ pace and performance, as well as offering drivers new to the WEC the opportunity to work on traffic management and familiarise themselves with multi-class racing at the highest level.
