In their final match Wilson Lakeview triumphed 3-2 over HYTECH from Petaling Jaya. HYTECH returned home RM3,000 richer while third place went to KK Frenz of Kota Kinabalu who won RM2,000.
A total of 10 teams took part in this year’s tournament which was played at the Likas Tennis Courts and Sutera Tennis Courts.
Teams that competed apart from Wilson Lakeview, HYTECH PJ and KK Frenz were Ranau LTA, Suria Tennis, Sandakan DTA, Head Hunters, Kent Teachers Institute, Gugusan Dominasi Banditz and TC Sports.
An interesting feature in this tournament was that the teams were represented by 10 nationalities as their players came from South Korea, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Italy, France, Latvia, Holland and Malaysia.
