The 1-1 draw against Vietnam Coal and Mineral might have been disappointing but it did not deter Hanoi FC from maintaining their position at the top of the National Women’s Football Championship – Thai Son Bac Cup.
Following a first-half deadlock, it was Vietnam Coal who went ahead in the 74th minute when Nguyen Th? Thanh Huyen scored an own goal following a goalmouth melee.
But it took Hanoi just 14 minutes later to nail the equaliser from Nguyen Thi Hue from close.
The win allowed Hanoi to remain on top with 10 points while Vietnam Coal and Mineral are second with seven points.
Elsewhere, Phong Phu Ha Nam beat TNG Thai Nguyen 2-0.
