TheBurntChip (Josh Larkin), driving with Jaguar TCS Racing, beat teammate Behzinga in the Final at the second edition of Formula E EVO Sessions, securing victory by just 0.421 seconds with a time of 1:28.212.

SeĂąor Frogs, led by Calfreezy, put in a dominant display over QuickStars, led by Vikstarr, as they ran out 18-5 winners.

Izzy Hammond, daughter of former Top Gear presenter and British broadcaster Richard Hammond, crashed into the barrier during the Duels stage of Formula E’s second-ever iteration of EVO Sessions.

The top three fastest drivers on the day were TheBurntChip (Jaguar TCS Racing), Behzinga (DS PENSKE) and WillNE (Mahindra Racing).

Max Klymenko (CitroĂŤn Racing) picked up the wooden spoon as the slowest driver on the day with Stan Browney (Andretti Formula E) narrowly missing out.

Formula E EVO Sessions returned on 15 February, bringing together the world’s biggest creators and putting them behind the wheel of the GEN3 Evo – the exact same cars driven by professional Formula E drivers –  capable of 0-60mph/100 kph in just 1.82s. Transitioning from digital screens to the cockpit of the world’s fastest-accelerating electric race car, the high-speed streets of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit played host to a masterclass in electric racing today for eight of the world’s premier content creators.

TheBurntChip (Josh Larkin) beat his fellow SeĂąor Frogs teammate Behzinga (Ethan Payne) in the final of EVO Sessions, securing victory by just 0.421 seconds with a time of 1:28.212. Behzinga put in his fastest lap of the day, but it wasn’t enough as “Chip” responded to take home the 2026 EVO Sessions crown.

EVO Sessions marked the return of Formula E’s creator event following its debut in Miami last year. Delivered in collaboration with Arcade, the management company behind The Sidemen, the format mirrored Formula E’s knockout qualifying structure, with some of the biggest content creators on the planet competing head-to-head for the fastest lap on behalf of two teams.

The spectacle, which was streamed live on Formula E’s YouTube channel, went down to the wire and was full of thrills and spills throughout. Qualifying saw the most followed TikToker in the world, Khaby Lame (Nissan Formula E Team), spin out as well as returning EVO Sessions participant, JUCA (CUPRA KIRO). The Mexican collided with the wall while driving Dan Ticktum’s CUPRA KIRO, ruling him out of the competition.

On winning EVO Sessions creator, Josh Larkin AKA TheBurntChip said: â€œI have been working very hard for it. It does mean a lot. Honestly, I put so many hours watching Mitch (Evans) and looking at videos of braking zones on my phone. I think it paid off in the end as Ethan (Behzinga) put in a great time.”

The most dramatic moment came as Izzy Hammond, daughter of former Top Gear presenter and British broadcaster Richard Hammond, crashed into the barrier during her competitive lap on track. Competing under the colours of Lola Yamaha ABT, Hammond needed to deliver a representative lap to secure a place in the semi-finals. After a strong qualifying session prior and running smoothly in the opening sector of her Duels lap, her run unraveled heading into Turn 13 when she was unable to slow the car sufficiently, striking the barrier in an estimated 45g impact.

Izzy, who walked away from her crash and was cleared by medical staff on the ground after the collision, spoke later on the broadcast and said: â€œMy first thought was, ‘everyone’s watching, my dad is watching, he’s going to cry or something. Can someone just tell him that I’m okay!’” She continued in good spirits as she added, “It wasn’t a small crash. If you’re going to crash, you’ve got to really crash. I saw the wall coming, and I knew I was going to enter it at speed. It happens, but I’m okay. Richard did it, now I’ve done it. So now we’re even!”
