Yangon strolled to an easy 4-0 win over struggling GF as they maintained a five-point advantage at the top of the Myanmar National League (MNL) 2018.

A brace from Kosuke and they two more from Emmanuel and Sylla saw Yangon picking up 29 points from twelve matches played.

“We had chances to score more but were weak in finishing,” said Yangon United head coach Myo Min Tun afterwards.

Elsewhere, defending champions Shan United beat Ayeyawady United 2-0 with goals from David Htan in the 13th minute and Zin Min Tun in the 25th minute.

Yadanarbon thrashed Myawady 7-0 as Rakhine United beat Southern Myanmar 2-1 and Zwekapin United defeated Hantharwady United 3-1.

Sagaing United were held to a 1-1 draw by Magwe at the Monywa Stadium.
