29th SEA Games KL2017 - Chef de Mission Datuk Marina Chin Chin with Bowling Athletes
BOWLING – The national bowling team in upbeat mood.

A DAY after checking into the SEA Games 2017 final training camp, Chef de Mission Datuk Marina Chin Chin wasted no time in making her rounds from one venue to another to check on the well being of the Malaysian athletes and help lift their spirits.

The national contingent checked into Renaissance Hotel on Friday (4 Aug 2017) and are currently housed at the contingent’s official accommodation until 10 August for some dry run sessions.

On Saturday (5 Aug 2017), Datuk Marina paid a visit to the bowling venue at Sunway Pyramid to provide some words of encouragement to the national keglers.

Datuk Marina expressed her confidence that the Malaysian bowling team will be able to deliver the goods.

On her visit to the national water polo camp at the National Aquatic Centre, Datuk Marina said the team are well prepared this time around and are in high spirits.

“The water polo team had started their practice much earlier this time around and all of them are in upbeat mood,” said Datuk Marina.

Powerhouse Singapore, will again be the favourites and the Malaysian water polo team is hoping to at least win a bronze medal at the KL Games.
