Indonesia have signed former Persija Jakarta goalkeeper Mukti Ali Raja as the new coach for the Indonesian national Under-19 team as the squad continues to undergo transformation.
The team is currently under former Indonesian international Bima Sakti following the decision of the FA of Indonesia (PSSI) not to renew the contract of former head coach Indra Sjafri.
Mukti replaced Jarot Supriadi.
“It will be a challenge from coaching at the club level. The burden is immense but the positive signs are there,â said Bima.
