The Philippines Women’s national team conceded their second loss in Group A of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025 with a 3-2 defeat to Morocco at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

The host started stronger this time around when they struck twice through Dionesa Tolentin (fourth minute) and Cathrine Buccat Graversen (eighth) to take the 2-0 lead.

However, Morocco did not take too long to answer when Nadia Laftah pulled up for the first goal in the tenth minute, as Siiham Tadlaoui then fired in the equaliser, four minutes later.

The Philippines’ hope of at least drawing the match was denied when Jasmine Demraoui slammed home the winner in the 17th minute to give Morocco their first full points of the competition.

In the meantime, Argentina maintained their position at the top of Group A with a close 3-2 victory over Poland.
