Selangor rode on their 4-0 win in the first-leg to book their place in the FA Cup final on a 5-1 aggregate after nearly a decade after a 1-1 draw with PKNS FC in the second-leg at the Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday.

The Red Giants were in the driving seat after the 4-0 win in the first-leg at the KLFA Stadium in Cheras on June 23.

They last won the FA Cup in 2009 by defeating Kelantan in the final and who Selangor play in the July 7 final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil will be known on Sunday after the second-leg semi-final between Pahang and PKNP (Perak SEDC).

The two teams are on level footing after a 1-1 draw in the first-leg at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan. The return leg will be played at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh.

Once again it Selangor’s hitman from Spain who scored a hattrick in the first-leg, who scored for his team on 71 minutes. PKNS drew level in the last minute of play through Alif Haikal Sabri but there was no stopping Selangor to advance 5-1 on aggregate. RIZAL ABDULLAH
