The 3rd Coordination Committee (CoComm) Meeting between the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) and the Thailand ASEAN Para Games Organising Committee (THASOC) concluded here today with both parties reaffirming commitment to ensure delivery of a smooth and best-ever Games in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Despite the recent flooding affecting several regions of Thailand, THASOC reaffirmed that Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) remains fully secure, operational and unaffected, ensuring that preparations for the Games continue without disruption.

The final series of the coordination meeting took place at Kantary Hotel, the official headquarters hotel of the 13th ASEAN Para Games Thailand 2025, which will be held  from 20 to 26 January 2026 across multiple venues in Nakhon Ratchasima and Bangkok.

APSF President Major General Osoth Bhavilai expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved: “We are encouraged by the commitment demonstrated by THASOC, and we remain confident that preparations in Nakhon Ratchasima are fully on track.”

“While the flood situation remains a concern nationally, we are reassured that it has not impacted Games operations in Korat. APSF will continue working closely with THASOC to resolve all outstanding matters to ensure a safe, well-organised, and world-class ASEAN Para Games,” he said.

Maj Gen Bhavilai led the seven-member APSF delegation which included Secretary General Major General Dr Wandee Tosuwan and key APSF Secretariat members. A significant milestone of the day was the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between APSF and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), formally reaffirming Thailand’s mandate as host nation and strengthening operational cooperation across all functional areas of Games delivery.
