The three French pilots in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship – Nicolas Ivanoff, François Le Vot and Mika Brageot – got a cinematic view of the Côte d’Azur on Thursday, ahead of their first-ever home race at Cannes, France this weekend.

The race on the Riviera is a first for motorsport as well: the inaugural stop in France after more than a decade of high-speed, low altitude action at spectacular destinations worldwide.

Flying their swift raceplanes, the trio took in the shimmering Bay of Cannes, where the racetrack of 25-meter-high Air Gates will rise, as well as the sweeping curve of the Croisette, a playground for the rich and famous where thousands will witness Ivanoff, Le Vot and Brageot take on a field of world-leading pilots. Completing their aerial tour, the French aces flew south to the stunning coastline of Le Trayas, where the striking red cliffs of the Estérel massif meet the blue waters of the Mediterranean.

Be there when Cannes rolls out the red carpet for the world’s best Air Racing pilots: Red Bull Air Race tickets are on sale now for three action-packed days on 20-22 April 2018. For more information, visit www.redbullairrace.com.
