Ceres-Negros FC picked up the inaugural Philippines Football League (PFL) crown when they completely overwhelmed Global Cebu 4-1 in the final.

In the match that was played over the weekend at the Panaad Stadium, international Iain Ramsay found the back of the net three times after Spanish striker Bienvenido Maranon had nailed the opener after just four minutes.

Ramsay was on target in the 20th, 38th and 62nd minute as Daryl Roberts pulled a consolation goal for Global a minute to the end.
