BWF World Championships Jakarta 2015; The most prestigious tournament in Badminton. Competing as individuals in five events, Men’s singles, Women’s singles, Men’s and Women’s doubles and Mixed doubles, success conveys the title of World Champion on the winner(s).Datuk Lee Chong Wei had a good workout in the third round of the BWF Total World Championships here today as he swept past Chinese Wang Zhengming 21-17, 21-19.

While there were several times his eigth-seeded opponent took the lead, Chong Wei was always in control of the game which lasted 49 minutes.

Chong Wei, the former world No.1, will now face either Chinese Hu Yun or Indian K. Srikanth in the quarterfinals tomorrow.

“I’m happy to have won in straight games today, it will help tomorrow,” said the 100PLUS Brand Ambassador after the match.

“Unlike previous championships, it was always Lin Dan and Chong Wei, this time there are others like Momota, Srikanth, Chen Long who are all strong.
