The Indonesian Under-19 team will take on Persis Solo in a friendly later tonight at the Manahan Stadium in Solo.

The game represents the first in a three-test series which the Indonesia U19 team is planning over the course of the next few weeks as they look to put up a strong showing at the AFF U19 Championship which they will be hosting in early July.

“We have been in training in the past week (in Jogjakarta) and the spirit as well as the commitment of the players is very good. Now, it is time to test them,” said Indonesian U19 head coach Indra Sjafri.

“For the friendly, we will be trying out several players and also making some positional adjustments. After the game against Persis, we will be taking on PSS Sleman next week.”
