Conceding six goals in their last friendly match is not exactly the way to go with just days remaining to the AFF Futsal Championship 2016.

Indonesia, who are making a return to ASEAN Futsal after a year’s absence, fell behind by three goals in a friendly against Black Steel Manokwari before fighting back to win 8-6 at the Tifosi Sport Center.

“We need to be better defensively with the position at second post and combination play still off,” said Indra Irawan, the head coach of Indonesia.

“We will have one more friendly to go and we have to make the adjustments.”

The AFF Futsal Championship 2016 will be played on 23-29 January 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand.
