Calling for registration for Perak-based Under-12 Boys Category
Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (“KLK”) are organising its third “Piala Muhibah KLK” to encourage and provide a platform for our multiracial populace to come and play together for a game of football and at the same time, promote a healthy lifestyle. The Piala Muhibah will be held at fields at D.R. Seenivasagam Park in Ipoh on May 6 and May 7 for Perak-based players under 12 years old. This will be followed by a similar tournament for boys under 16 in August.
The concept of the tournament which was helped organised by Ipoh Bug (a local organisation which focuses on developing youth through sports), was the brainchild of KLK’s Chief Executive Officer, Tan Sri Lee Oi Hian. All team managers and coaches had to ensure that while playing, a pre-determined number of multiracial players are on the field. This is to encourage the Muhibah culture amongst the players and these children also get the opportunity to realise their potential talent in football.
