The Makassar Super Cup Asia kicks off tomorrow with four teams to do battle at the Andi Mattalatta Stadium in Makassar.

Other than hosts PSM Makassar (Indonesia), the other teams taking part are Home United (Singapore), Adelaide United (Australia) and Ministry of National Defense FC (Cambodia).

“This tournament is important for us in our preparation for the new season. We will not be playing in any of the regional AFC championship, so it will be a good test to gauge our level in the region and also in Indonesia,” said Robert Rene Alberts, the head coach of PSM Makassar.

Added Tep Long Rachana, the head coach of Ministry of National Defense FC: “For us this is more than just football but also for inter relations between ASEAN countries.”

Format of competition will see Adelaide United taking on MND while hosts PSM will play Home United in the second game tomorrow.

The two winners will then play in the final game two days later with the
