A solitary strike from Vu Minh Tuan gave FLC Thanh Hai a well-deserved 1-0 win over SHB Da Nang as they strengthened their position in mid-table of the Nuti Café V-League One 2018.
Playing at home gave Thanh Hoa the confidence but Nigerian striker Edward Ofere could not make it count as Da Nang were relying more on the counter attack.
Following a first half deadlock, the change for Minh Tuan would turn the game to Thanh Hoa’s favour where in the 80th minute, a fine partnership with Bui Van Hieu Tuan allowed him to score the winner.
