The Vietnam Futsal team will be aiming to win both gold medals in the men’s and women’s division of the SEA Games which begin next week in Kuala Lumpur.

The 29th edition of the SEA Games will be held in Malaysia on 19-30 August 2017 although football and Futsal will start earlier.

However, enroute to the podium both Vietnam men and women’s Futsal teams will have to go through ‘baptism of fire’ when they open their campaign against defending champions Thailand.

Both matches will be played on 18 August 2017 at the Panasonic Stadium in Shah Alam.

“These will be very important matches in the fight of gaining gold medal so Vietnam Futsal will make every effort to win,” said Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan, deputy chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
