Thailand will take on Australia in the final of the ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship 2026 in two days at the Terminal21 Hall in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

In the semi-final matches earlier today, Thailand were 4-2 winners over Vietnam, while Australia edged Indonesia 3-2.

Thailand’s Jenjira Bubpha snatched a double (11th and 33rd minute) after Nattamon Artkla had prised open the fourth-minute lead as Arriya Saetoen added the other in the 34th minute.

Tran Thi Thu Xuan (in the second minute) and Le Thi Thanh Ngan (36th) scored for Vietnam.

In the meantime, Trudy Rose Camilleri delivered the winning goal in extra time to propel Australia into their first final of the ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship.

In a cracker of a match, Insyafadya Salsabillah gave Indonesia the lead after nine minutes before Australia fought back with the equaliser through Clare Jane Anne Holder moments later.

Dhea Febrina Bangun put Indonesia into the lead in the 29th minute, but an own goal from Fitry Amelya a minute later forced the match into extra time.

Camilleri then popped in the winner in the 50th minute to deny Indonesia and push Australia to their place in the final.
