According to head coach Muhammad Dhaarma Raj, although the team lost by a large margin, the match was evenly contested.
“We lost the match by 4 goals to nil, but it was close. We had 4 PCs but failed to convert any. China, in turn, had 3 PCs and scored two. We will review the match today and mount a serious challenge again tomorrow. We are here to learn and develop. There are new concepts and ideas which must be understood, and this will take time”, said Dhaarma.
Malaysia play their second match tomorrow @ 3.00pm.
