A Tesla GT race car piloted by Agustin Paya of Spain zips past a Bugatti Type 59 from the year 1934 — which is actually a painting by Italian artist and Body Painting world champion Johannes Stoetter.

He painted the classic car on a banked curve at the long-since abandoned race circuit at Terramar in San Pere de Ribes, south of Barcelona, Spain.

The demonstration under the slogan of “racing’s past meets racing’s future” was designed to back the application of the Electric GT founders to FIA to launch a new all-electric World Championship in 2018 and celebrate the opening of the historic Terramar race track 95 years ago on 28-October-1923.

Stoetter was assisted by Swedish artist Vilja Vitkute.
