Italian giant AC Milan are set to open a football academy this year in Hanoi with the first class expected to start training in September 2019.

The academy is collaboration between club AC Milan and Japanese-based Hojitsu Group.

Young players are expected to be trained with Italian coaches, using the ‘AC Milan Method’ – which prioritises both football techniques and ethical education through sport.

All training sessions are focused on building up young players’ knowledge of the rules, fair play and a balanced diet.

AC Milan football academies have been set up in 10 countries across the globe, with 29,000 children already taking part.
