Cambodia will take on Timor Leste at the National Olympic Stadium on 29 May as a tune-up for their qualifying round of the 2019 Asian Cup next month.

With the match against Taiwan in Taipei looming on 2 June before the return tie five days later, the game will be as important to Taiwan as it is for Timor Leste.

Timor Leste will take on Malaysia in a two-legged match in Johor Baru.

ā€œThe friendly serves as a good lead-up for the team, which has been going through its preparations,ā€ said May Tola, the spokesman for the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC).

ā€œWe hope the national team can make the best use of the enormous experience the second round of the World Cup qualifiers has given the side.ā€
