Britain’s Mark Cavendish sprinted to victory on the second stage of the Tour of Abu Dhabi on Friday, snatching the race leader’s red jersey in the process.
Cavendish, second at the world championships in Doha last weekend, inherited the overall lead from Giacomo Nizzolo who is four seconds off the pace.
