The Singapore Under-15 team will undergo a training camp in Chonburi, Thailand as part of their preparation for the AFF Women’s U15 Championship in May this year.

The camp in Chonburi will be from 13-17 March 2017 and where they have been slated to play three friendly matches against local oppositions.

Other than the AFF U15 meet, the team will also be taking part in the AFC Women’s U16 Championship 2019 qualifiers which will be held next year.

“For the U15, the training camp will be a good opportunity for them to gain international exposure and band together as a squad. We have deliberately chosen a very young team as we have an eye on the AFC Women’s U16 Championships in two years’ time, when most of this squad will still qualify,” said Yong Sheau Shyan, the Singapore Women’s head coach.

In the meantime, the Singapore national women’s team will play a friendly against Hong Kong at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground as part of their preparations for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2018 qualifiers in April.
