Next week’s CIMB Classic will provide fun family activities and a food fiesta at TPC Kuala Lumpur apart from world-class golf action led by world No. 3 Hideki Matsuyama and world No. 4 and two-time defending champion Justin Thomas.
The organisers have planned a full range of exciting and interactive activities outside the ropes for adults and children to enjoy their experience when visiting the USD7 million CIMB Classic, which is the only PGA TOUR tournament staged in Southeast Asia.
At the Public Village at TPC Kuala Lumpur, golf fans will find the following:-
Upon entry through the Ticketing Counter, fans will be captivated at the Public Exhibition through the various interactive and fun exhibits. They include:-

– Official Apparel by J. Lindeberg;
– Tourism Malaysia, showcasing destinations for your next holiday;
– TPC Kuala Lumpur Lounge;
– Glocomp exhibition showcase;
– Berjaya Sompo Exhibition which includes games on Travelling, Chance and Target Bird golf plus a driving simulator! Great prizes to be won here too.
As you exit the second tent, you can catch the players at the driving range on the East Course or head to the MST Golf merchandise area to check out the latest in golfing attire and equipment.
For parents with kids, check out the Family Fun Zone at the Main Lobby at TPC Kuala Lumpur for indoor activities which include:
– Nintendo Wii gaming area;
– Bouncy Castles;
– Ring Toss, Shoot Out and Knock Down games.
Here, parents are not forgotten as there is a Reflexology Corner for our masseuse to work on those tight muscles and achy feet while your kids occupy themselves in the Family Fun Zone.
At the heart of the CIMB Classic experience is the Food Pavilion located at the back of the Main Lobby building where golf fans and their families can tuck away and chillax in comfort. This pavilion is operated by Tiffin.
The F&B kiosks include:
– The Nasi Lemak Project, serving what else but a variety of delicious nasi lemak specials;
– Pezzo Pizza, serving Cheese Cheese, Pepperoni Party and Hola Hawaiian pizzas;
– The Yard, serving British Pies and milkshakes;
– Bubbles Eggete, serving Eggettes with various jams/sauces, Chocolate Chips, Strawberry Chips and Butterscotch;
– The Talent Lounge, serving tasty spring rolls, fried chicken wings and curry puffs;
– Homemade.my, serving pasta, nachos and hotdogs;
– Coca-Cola, enjoy the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola and its array of other beverages to cool down but if you prefer a cup of coffee, they’ve got a variety of options too;
As part of the enhancements for viewing the golf action, a new spectator grandstand overlooks the 1st tee box, 14th green and 15th hole, which promises to be one of the best vantage points to catch the action.
