Nor Hamizah Hassan and Nur Syazreen Malik are on cloud nine.
The duo mesmerised not only their opponents but fans as well to win the women’s double artistic gold medal at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on Friday (Aug 25).
Gold medallist at the 2013 Myanmar Games, Nor Hamizah and Nur Syazreen have also wrested the gold that slipped through their hands at the Singapore Games two years ago by amassing 568 points.
Singapore exponents Nur Azlyana Ismail and Nurhanishah won the silver with 553 points while the Indonesia pair of Ririn Rinasih and Riska Hermawan took bronze with an overall score of 545 points.
Nur Syazreen, said: “This is the first time my family came to watch me compete so I am really happy and this is gold medal is for them. My parents have always supported me.”
