The mercurial Andik Vermansyah will be looked at to provide much of the firepower when Indonesia take on Malaysia in a friendly in Solo next month.

Indonesia will play Malaysia at the Manahan Stadium in Solo on 6 September as part of their tune-up for the AFF Suzuki Cup later this year.

Head coach Alfred Riedl said that while Andik has been left out of the second centralised training session, he will be there in Solo to lead the charge.

“Andik will be called for the friendly match against Malaysia (on 6 September 2016 at the Stadium Manahan Solo,” said Riedl from the team’s training base at Stadium Pakansari in Bogor.

Riedl explained that Andik has been left out of the team’s camp because of his Selangor club commitment.
